How would it feel to be accepted as you are?

Psychosis is a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality.  It is normally treated with hospital stays and strong medication.
Open Dialogue is a method for treating people who are suffering psychosis – through conversation…  Just through conversation.  What is special is that this conversation includes 3 key elements:
  • Listening deeply
  • Acceptance or non-judgement of the other person or their experiences
  • An attitude of not trying to change the other person.
The results are outstanding.
So if Open Conversation can heal seriously ill people, just imagine what it would do for your employees or for your children.
Just imagine a world, a workplace or family where we practice acceptance.
