I believe that employees in organisations world wide deserve the following human rights. The rights to:
- One, and only one, manager to whom they are accountable
- A manager that they can trust
- Understand and make meaning of the purpose and context of their work
- A clear understanding of what they are accountable to deliver
- Authorities that match their accountabilities to enable them to deliver in their role
- Clear and accurate feedback on their performance in their role
- A clear and documented specification of new tasks required
- Their potential future in their organisation
- Be treated without discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnicity or other reasons
- Work in a physically and psychologically safe environment
- Be consulted in relation to things that affect them
